High bay LED Light 150W -- Meant For Industrial/Commercial Lighting! (Dallas, Texas, USA)

The High Bay LED light of 150W » is an efficient energy replacement over metal-halide high bays of up to 400W. Compare the lumen efficacy of both and then you get to know which one is more efficient. Take for instance, a metal-halide high bay light of 400W can deliver 24,000 lumens, whereas high bay LED light of 150W can deliver nearly the same amount of lumens, i.e. 20,098 lumens. The lumen efficacy is calculated by dividing the number of lumens by watts and you get 60 lm/w for metal-halides, whereas 134 for high bays of the LED kind. The higher the lumen efficacy, the more energy-efficient. And, that’s not enough to talk about high bay LED light, for there’s much more to it. We suggest, continue reading.

A high bay LED light distinguishes itself from all other traditional lights (those that could have been used in any industrial or commercial settings such as factories, warehouses, showrooms, gymnasiums et al.) in the following ways.

High Bay LED Light 150W -- How It’s Different From All Traditional Light Sources?

It is used for direct overhead lighting -- that which you don’t get from metal-halide or HID high bays. The reason -- these traditional light sources are omni-directional and often need reflectors to direct the light towards an intended area. But, high bay LED light is directional.
The beam angle of this high bay is 120 degree, which means the light gets scattered to cover wider areas than what you could expect from linear high bays -- which has a beam angle of 110 degrees.
A linear high bay LED may be used to illuminate racks, shelves and storage areas in your factory or warehouse, high bay LED (the one that’s round in shape) is used to illuminate the central area (such as production bench or packaging area) in the same settings. So, determine if you need such intense, bright light as that emitted by high bay LED. The color temperature of 5700K is perfect for any central tasking areas. At this Kelvin temperature, the light mimics the sun post noon and is hence called as daywhite light.

Now, while all that’s to with the quality of light output in terms of beam angle, the light distribution pattern etc. make sure, your industrial or commercial premise has a ceiling height of 15ft and above.
